1. Who we are

This Privacy Notice explains how Zakaryae Alaoui, operator of Vitricio (“we”, “us”), processes personal data. We act as the data controller for the personal data collected through the Vitricio service.

2. Data we collect and why

Account data: name, email address and login credentials — used to create and manage your account (legal basis: contract performance).

Service data: shop name, tagline, opening hours, messages, display preferences and language — used to provide the storefront display service (legal basis: contract performance).

Support data: messages you send through the support form, including your email and the subject — used to provide customer support (legal basis: legitimate interest).

Usage and device data: IP address, device identifiers and basic usage/telemetry — used for security, fraud prevention and product improvement (legal basis: legitimate interest).

Payment-related data is collected and processed directly by Paddle, our Merchant of Record, and is not covered by this notice.

3. Who we share data with

Service providers and subprocessors that help us run the service (hosting, analytics, support tooling).

Paddle, our Merchant of Record, for the sale of the product, subscription management, payments, tax compliance and invoicing.

Professional advisers (legal, accounting) where necessary, and authorities where required by law.

4. Retention and security

We keep personal data only as long as needed to provide the service and meet legal obligations; it is then deleted or anonymised.

We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures, including encryption in transit and access controls, to protect your data.

5. Your rights

Depending on your country of residence, you may have rights over your personal data, including access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection and withdrawal of consent. To exercise them, contact us at support@vitricio.com; we respond within one month. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

If your data is transferred outside the UK/EEA, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses or adequacy decisions.

6. Cookies

We use essential cookies and storage required for authentication and to remember your language preference. We do not use marketing cookies. You can manage or delete cookies through your browser settings.
